Recruitment FAQ's
Q: Do I have to be a freshman to join?
A: No! As long as you have at least two semesters left i your undergraduate studies, and meet our other eligibility requirements, you can join AEPhi.
Q: Does AEPhi require letters of recommendation?
A: Letters of recommendation are no longer required per TAMU CPC, but if you would like to provide one or are a legacy, please review the information on AEPhi's National Website.
Q: Does AEPhi participate in CPC's formal recruitment week?
A: No, our chapter does not participate in the TAMU CPC formal recruitment process that takes place before classes begin each fall semester. AEPhi at Texas A&M participates in CPC's Continuous Open Bidding process.
Q: If I do not find my home in another sorority during formal recruitment, am I still eligible to join AEPhi?
A: Yes! Whether you participate in formal recruitment or not, you can APPLY to join AEPhi as long as you have not accepted a bid from another CPC sorority and meet our eligibility requirements. Email tamurecruitment@gmail.com with any questions about CPC's COB process.
Q: Do I have to be Jewish to join AEPhi?
A: Alpha Epsilon Phi is a Jewish sorority, but not a religious organization, with membership open to all college women, regardless of religion, who honor, respect, and appreciate our Jewish founding, and are comfortable in a culturally Jewish environment.
